After spending two weeks in Italy, I spent a couple days in the South of France with two of my girlfriends for my belated birthday. We spent 2 nights in Nice, and then Monaco for one night. Monaco a sovereign city-state located along the French Riviera. We wanted to visit Monte Carlo, which is a very prestigious area in Monaco where the famous Monte Carlo Casino is, along with the beautiful Hotel & Cafe De Paris. Monte Carlo is extravagant and expensive, but very beautiful. My girls and I spent the day walking around Monte Carlo, laying by our hotel beach and pool at the Le Meridien Beach Plaza, and went to Nikki Beach on the rooftop of the Fairmont Hotel to have a few drinks later in the day. We had an amazing dinner at Cipriani’s (the chilean sea bass was the best fish I ever had), and went out to a club to celebrate my friend and I’s birthdays. We had so much fun! Monaco & Monte Carlo is definitely a place worth seeing, but keep in mind it’s not the best place to go if you are traveling on a budget . You can honestly do Monaco/Monte Carlo in one full day and feel like you experienced it well. I would love to go back one day for the Monaco Grand Prix!
