SOUL CYCLE + MALIBU FARM CAFE
I finally had the chance to take a Soul Cycle class! It was so much fun! I went to the one in Malibu and took a 10:30am class. It’s very high energy, and you sweat A LOT. I suggest wearing exercise shorts like Nike Pros, and a sports bra or a loose fitting tank. You should wear as minimum as possible because you are dripping sweat by the end of class. I hate working out, but they play dance music and the class goes by quick so it’s a great workout that makes you sweat but doesn’t feel too long. After my Soul Cycle class I had brunch at Malibu Farm Cafe on the end of the Malibu Pier. I took my mom to Geoffrey’s in Malibu for Mother’s Day. Geoffrey’s is located on a bluff over looking the ocean in Malibu, the views are beautiful and the food is really good. Although they are known for their seafood dishes, they have great steak and meat dishes as well. The food and ambiance are both amazing. It’s great for any special occasion, and also romantic for a good date spot. A little pricey, but worth it. Check out the dishes we ordered! SAUTEED CRAWFISH CAKE Spicy Cajun Remoulade This was so good! Might have been my favorite thing we ordered. I loved the spicy cajun cream sauce. It tasted almost like a crab cake, but it was the sauce that made it. Not sure if this is on the regular menu though, it might just be a special for featured events they have at the restaurant. I’m dedicating this post to my favorite and best clam chowder ever. I give the award for best clam chowder to Paradise Cove Beach Cafe in Malibu. Paradise Cove is a secret hideaway beach in Malibu with a beach bar, cafe/restaurant, and take-out counter. Paradise Cove Beach Cafe has a huge menu of food and specialty beach cocktails right on the sands of a private beach with wooden lounge chairs, cabanas and day beds. During the summer, Paradise Cove is always busy and a popular place to go for beach lounging and dining. I love this place. Whether you go for breakfast or brunch and to spend a day on the beach, for lunch, or an early dinner watching the sunset, Paradise Cove is exclusive, charming and beautiful.
