BOSTON

It was my first time in Boston recently, and I loved the city. I went with my good friend Liz who is from there, so she was the perfect tour guide and showed me the best of the city. We stayed with her family in Framingham, (which was beautiful suburbia outside of the city), and commuted to and from the city every day. I listed a few of my Boston highlights below, also check out my Boston video! BOSTON HIGHLIGHTS North End Boston North End is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Boston, known for it’s Italian American population and Italian restaurants. It’s basically like Boston’s “Little Italy”. We stopped by the famous Mike’s Pastries for cannolis, as well as hit up Bricco, a popular Italian find dining restaurant, which was delicious. North End has lots of great food, so go hungry! Biking along the Esplanade All around the city were bike rentals that you can rent by machine. We rented bikes and rode along the Esplanade, a pathway along the Charles River during sunset. …

Last week after I returned from my Middle  East trip, I came back to LA for a day, unpacked, repacked, and headed to Miami for Swim Week! It was my first Miami Swim Week experience and I had the best time. I attended the 6 Shore Road runway show and hosted their after party, and went to Mikoh, Luli Fama Swimwear, Frankies Bikini’s, Acacia, and Indah. COACHELLA 2015

I had a quick but fun Coachella this year. I was fortunate enough to get artist passes but could only go for Saturday night so didn’t get to see a lot of performers that I wanted, but grateful to experience some nonetheless. My highlight was Kanye coming out during the Weeknd’s set. It was epic. I also really enjoyed FKA Twigs, Flosstradamus & Axwell & Ingrosso. I had to leave Sunday morning because I had a shoot in LA, but wanted to share a few Coachella pictures with you guys. Until next year! PS. What did you think of my Coachella outfit? xo

INTERVIEW WITH EXECUTIVE CHEF/OWNER OF BESTIA

Located in an industrial warehouse in LA’s downtown Art District, I was intrigued pulling up to Bestia for the first time. It was not quite what I expected. But once I entered the restaurant, everything came to life and it all made sense. Packed and buzzing with fast-paced servers and cooks in an open faced kitchen, the restaurant felt alive in a way that most Los Angeles restaurants do not anymore. With brick walls, unfinished ceilings, and rustic decor, Bestia has a raw, urban aesthetic that is unlike any other restaurants in the city. Whether you choose to sit at the bar, in the middle of the restaurant (where you can watch dishes fly out of the kitchen), or in front of the wood-burning ovens at the pizza counter, you’re in for an exciting dining experience. I’ve been to Bestia a few times now and it never disappoints. Ori Menashe and his wife, Genevieve Gergis, are the duo behind the restaurant. Menashe is the owner and executive chef, offering rustic Italian dining with an eccentric …
