BOSTON

It was my first time in Boston recently, and I loved the city. I went with my good friend Liz who is from there, so she was the perfect tour guide and showed me the best of the city. We stayed with her family in Framingham, (which was beautiful suburbia outside of the city), and commuted to and from the city every day. I listed a few of my Boston highlights below, also check out my Boston video!

BOSTON HIGHLIGHTS

North End Boston

North End is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Boston, known for it’s Italian American population and Italian restaurants. It’s basically like Boston’s “Little Italy”. We stopped by the famous Mike’s Pastries for cannolis, as well as hit up Bricco, a popular Italian find dining restaurant, which was delicious. North End has lots of great food, so go hungry!

Biking along the Esplanade

All around the city were bike rentals that you can rent by machine. We rented bikes and rode along the Esplanade, a pathway along the Charles River during sunset. The weather was perfect and it was so beautiful! Riding a bike was a great way to get around and see the city.

Shopping on Newbury Street

The weather in Boston was perfect when I went. It was warm and sunny- perfect to walk around and explore the city. We had lunch at Stephanie’s On Newbury, and walked on Newbury street where there is great shopping!

Lobster Rolls!

When in Boston, you gotta have lobster! Located on the edge of Boston’s historic Fort Point Channel, we chose the Barking Crab to enjoy some lobster rolls right on the water.

Faneuil Hall MarketplaceĀ

Faneuil Hall is an indoor/outdoor marketplace with great food and shops. We went on a Saturday so it was packed with people, but it’s a great place to eat and walk around.
