MISSJETSETTER’S GUIDE TO TURKS & CAICOS

Hi!!! I’ve been away in Turks and Caicos and finally settled back in Los Angeles and catching up on the blog. I have so much content to share so it’s taking me some time to get organized. I wanted to share my experience, give you some recommendations when traveling to T&C, and share with you some of my favorite pictures. I’m also doing a Turks & Caicos Top Three feature for Haute Living, so be sure to check that out once it’s live on their site to see exclusive pictures and adventures from my trip! Turks & Caicos VLOG coming soon too… http://hauteliving.com/2015/04/travel-blogger-miss-jetsetter-explores-the-best-of-turks-and-caicos/561552/ Known for it’s pristine beaches with beautiful turquoise water and white sand, Providenciales Island in Turks & Caicos is the ultimate beach lover’s vacation destination. I stayed for nine days which is a pretty long time to be on the island, but it gave me ample time to really discover the best the island has to offer. From visiting all the luxurious resorts, dining at the top recommended restaurants, and looking into all the excursions …

EL NIDO, PHILIPPINES

El Nido was so beautiful. I took so many great pictures I want to share with you! El Nido is great because it doesn’t feel touristy. I felt like I was on an island by myself with the locals. It was peaceful and quiet, and its a bunch of small islands close to one another so we did a day of island hopping and went to lagoons, caves, private beaches and went snorkeling. It was so much fun. Also if you haven’t yet, check out my El Nido zip lining video I posted in the previous post! Take a look at some of my favorite pictures and video from El Nido…

CEBU, PHILIPPINES

My trip to the Philippines was absolutely amazing. It was so beautiful there and the people were extremely nice and friendly. I started in Manila and island hopped from Cebu to Boracay to El Nido. I did everything from swimming with whale sharks to dancing with fire in the rain, being a mermaid and zip lining over the ocean. I already shared with you a couple clips being a mermaid and swimming with whale sharks, but here are a couple of my favorite pictures from Cebu (including Kawasan Falls). Next blog post will be on an amazing hole in the wall where they serve the best “Lechon” in Cebu. Stay tuned! I’M A REAL MERMAID…BORACAY, PHILIPPINES

Anyone that knows me, knows that I’ve been obsessed with mermaids my whole life. Mermaid everything growing up. Even my AOL screen name was “mermaidcutie” (I know, horrible) and I knew every word to the Little Mermaid (still do). Anyway, my Aunt sent me a link to this Philippine Mermaid Academy and said she thought of me and I had to do it. This was months ago before I even booked a trip to the Philippines. Sure enough, my best friend has been trying to get me to go to the Philippines, I had work off, so I finally decided to go. My dream finally came true! I got to be a mermaid…check out a sneak peak of my mermaid experience. More video to come, stay tuned!
